Walbro 450 in tank install
Any recommendations on how to splice this bugger into my stock connector, the lil grey one at top.
I have everything except for a "preferred" way to wire her in.
Without actually pulling it out, wanna verify what pins go into the grey connector at top.So are they the lil box ones like on the very top connector? or what or something else, I cant remember. Dont want to pull it till I have everything for swap.
You cant re-wire it from the top of the fuel pump either, I could splice it on but wanna make sure one what drawbacks, precautions, etc comments I could expect from doing that (not really my first approach, and also keep in mind wanna flex fuel down road) I spent the extra dough on the "Install kit" but it only remedies actual mounting. They add in there directions if you so happen to be installing the re-wire/relay kit at the same time they have extra pins for this install. Lol. I would still have the extras but my tools were stolen some time ago with my (goodies extra bag)... still kind of annoying missing two pins from an "install kit" when SOS usually covers every corner.

This is how it comes to give you an idea minus the mounting solutions.
I could solder it, but what would I >>want to seal it up with? gas/e85 considerations <<

I would just buy the sos wiring kit, makes it a clean problem free install. You just need to buy the pin crimping tool and whatever else you need. If you really don't want to buy the kit from sos you can get the pins from Honda or Acura. You need to know someone in the shop, they have a kit in the shop of all the pins for the hole car.

I will be following your thread closely because i am getting the same pump for my 2007 and want to see what is the best way to install that sucker.

Thing is I already bought the re-wire kit, it's installed. it's pretty pointless to buy another whole kit just for two pins. I'm sure they willprovide those pins separately but seems kinda out of the way. If anyone knows what kind of pins those are I wanted to source them from sum1 else. I'll try my dealership like sum1 suggested. Wanna make sure I'm getting right ones. R they the lil box ones?

I know this post is a few months old but I was in a similar situation. The SOS wiring kit has the pins you need to terminate the pump to the factory harness. You can depin the wire and see which ones you need to use. Mine came with three of them, obviously I used two so I have a spare one. I messaged SOS and they sounded willing to ship some out to you. BTW, I tried searching for it on the internet and I wasn't able to find a suitable replacement so SOS is your best bet to find the one you need. Hope this helps!

Iirc its the little box ones.
Im about 75% sure these are the ones haha

just get them thru sos, itd be a headache to wait on these little parts and it be the wrong parts
then again, i think there are two sizes of the box ones, the larger going to the fuel pump wire kit and the smaller going to the ecu.....

Sorry never followed up on this.
What at I did was cut that honky connector the Walbro comes with off. Took my oem (pump to hangar) wire & connector, an cut it in half. Then I soldered wires with heat shrink and took some appropriate size hosing and cut it along its length but in a spiral and installed on only one wire. Then zip tied everything secure.
