The current c38 Kraftworks stage 2 kits put many of the DBW cars in the low 400's whp though, so I thought that was more approaching the limit of about 450whp before needing to go returnless. All but a few lucky guys or those running E85 on a supercharger would get to that point. Not every car/set up/condition is 100% controlled though, so better to air on the safe side if any doubts.

Aren't u the one that does his own tuning tho.

With that level of being able tune and datalog, alot of steady state tuning, I'm sure squeezing every penny is feasible. I have no question if it's possible and being confident on it.

I can get on the dyno and make a 500whp pass myself. Will it last, most likely not lol.
I can see the dip and it has not changed with everything i have tried to install. Really tho. I'm only out the in tank fpr. I'm not ecstatic about dead heading an a electrical motor anymore anyways.

What size fuel pump r u running?
No disrespect at all, but makes n made leaves a lil wonder there to. Like did it make 500 and was not safe? Or made 500 and was OK but u took it back down? Or made 500 and or more still...
plz don't take that the wrong way. Just wondering how u made ur power other then doing ur own steady long term tuning iirc.

I think a few may be confused here. 06+ dbws are return less. Ap1s have a return system.

Right, but 04-05 are ap2 also but with a return system, so that might be part of the confusion.

00-03 ap1

04-05 ap2

06-09 ap2 DBW with returnless.

I'm going return for the sake of safety lol

Funny my OP was about Oct. N now I'm going return. In the end race fuel or mix to expensive, return will actually save me money.

Will it gaurantee safety and be the answer to my OP, not exactly. but leaning out all while still going for more I think is not only counter productive but will help with gaining the most from my Oct.

Nope, literally just bolt and clip everything in. The oe feedline is replaced by a steel braided one. Fuel pump hanger is replaced with one they provide. Then its just a matter of installing everything else. I gotta say tho, the most difficult part is wedging your hand and arm between the tank and chassis. Cut up my arm like crazy and id say my forearms are on the average to skinny side

Lol alright thanks! I'm fairly slender to lol. Should be pretty straight forward being a SOS product, I really have never had anything to complain about ( other then my Mani flange not being more flat ... I bought it used tho, might have deformed?) < I lose Mani nuts if I don't tighten them from right to left>
Anyways tracking has my upgrade delivered on the ninth. Gonna use CRC valve cleaner to wash the deposits out the cylinder head through the plenum; new plugs n max this kit out on 92. Wish me luck!
