Ouhei

I've been in the process of wrapping my car in Avery Dark Grey Gloss vinyl for the last few months, due to scheduling difficulties, life changes and the like it's taken a lot longer to complete than originally planned, but it's finally done! The wrap was done by me and a buddy of mine, we did it a few hours at a time as our schedules permitted and since I needed to be able to drive the car between sessions we did it with the car fully assembled. The wrap isn't perfect and I have a few spots to touch up here and there but I'm happy with how it came out considering we did it ourselves. I'm sure a shop that could take the car apart would do a better job but my car is my daily and I'm happy with the result.

I took the car out for some quick shots of it, I haven't taken many "real" pictures of it since it's been "in progress" for so long but came out with a few I liked.

This is about how the car will stay for now, I have a few things to do to clean up some odds and ends but the current plan is to sell it in February/March for something with a fixed roof and a little more room as the cramped spaces of the s2000 have started to grate at me for a daily driver.

nice.. you did well.. was that your first time wrapping an entire car? or have you wrapped panels before in the past?

im planning on getting my car re-wrapped this coming January after a bad wrap by someone else initially..


don't have the balls to attempt this myself.. good job!

EDIT: I noticed you didn't wrap the side mirrors.. those are a PITA to wrap. but I did find someone that does an excellent job on wrapping side mirrors.. so that's why I decided to go with them for the entire wrap job come January.

I don't think I'd ever want to do it again unless I could take it apart and wrap everything that way. We tried the mirrors but they started peeling off the next day, figured since the car was black and the roof was carbon it'd work out fine, I like the look.

I still love the car, just find myself wanting with a bit more creature comforts and more room. The s2000 will always hold a special place in my heart.

Haha, there's a line of like 4-5 people that want to buy it off me if I decide to part out.
