AP2 redline

So if i'm getting this right, the ap1 can rev to 9k, but it's highly un-advisable, cause it will cause lots of damage? I plan to buy an ap1 next year and would like to be able to shift at 9k often, what would I have to do to make the engine strong enough to handle that?
PS I am a noob to the S2k scene, I was a big 350z fan, but to many ppl where i live drive them, so i'd rather have the rare car.
Also I would want to build the engine for a N/a tune setup. All info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
John

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me, Couple other noob questions
1)What are the main differences b/t the ap1/ap2, I know ap2 has a 2.2L 8k rpm, and wider torque curve, which is really better and why? I dont want replies like "I have an ap1 it it owns ap2's or vice versa"
2)theres pretty much shit all for tuning shops where i live(vancouver B.C. area, except for a VW and Skyline place) What are a few good tuning shops in the Seattle area?
Thanks again!

(Replied to a deleted post)^Where did you get that info from? They're pretty much even depending on the driver. If and AP1 w/ gears lost to a stock AP2, either the driver of the AP1 couldn't drive or the driver of the AP2 drove really well.

I think you mean he would need VAFC or AFC or Emanage??? Isn't AEM a replacement programmable ECU? Not piggy back?
