H and A Accessories will sell you a six pack of oil filters at a fairly reasonable price. (a little over 6 bucks each if I remember correctly) I'd use OEM filter by all means. They (H and A) also sell packages of washers for the drain plug. My S2K has a petroleum based oil in it at present, but I'm going to Mobil 1 at 20K miles.

My manual says 5.5 quarts. I'v always used mobil 1 full synthetic 10w 30 in all my other cars, been thinking about going to one of the high end brands for the S2k as it's my first new-er car and I wanna spoil it.

Probably gonna stick with the OEM filter tho.

Just took my car to a Honda dealer to get my oil change and they charged me $47.00. I think I'm going to start changing my own oil and will go with what most ppl recommended which an OEM filter maybe from H and A Accessories and Mobil 1 synthetic 10w30. Thanks for all the help guys/gals!

One more thing, how do you reset the wrench icon/change oil thingy for an 06. I know my maintenance reset button for my old car is underneath the steering wheel but I don't know where it is for an S2K.

I used mobil 1 and a fram oil filter when I first go my S based on some advice by another S owner told me to switch to the OEM filter and a different oil. I switched to OEM filter and Royal Purple and I like it alot better don't know why the car just seemed to run alot better after I did the change. And 5quarts got me to the top.
