i heard that. but i think it's not so bad with the s-techs as they dont lower the car as much as others (ie skunk2, neuspeed, espelier). it shouldn't be too bad. dont worry about.

but on the flipside, your car is an '01. it should be due for a shock change anyhow.

Wassa Kris

I got Teins that I bought from Kreestufur on my stocks. They are fine.

Teins do not give an aggressive drop compared to others out there, thus less

stress on shocks. Eventually you will have to switch out your shocks at one

point, but until then your stockiez will do the job just fine.

Hey, make sure you read my postings on Tein S-Techs. I wrote some useful

tips on Tein S-Tech installation. If installed with less amount of care, you will

end up with uneven drop and uncomfy ride. Tein springs are marked F for front

and R for rear. Don't mix them up! When using stock shocks, you need to pay

extra attention to Top Hat/inside rubber bushing and how your coils sit in those

grooves correctly.

One more thing, make sure your Teins are GENUINE. I spotted fake Teins

during local SoCal meet last week.

I have them on my car right now with the stock shocks and they ride great I have had them for 2 years and they ride the same as when I first put them on. Plus the ride is not very much different from stock.
