Hi,

had anyone the chance to compare the Spoon and Manzao collars side by side?
I know that we will probably not find out if the same alloy is used, but how about dimesnsions, geometry and surface quality?

Regards,
JagoBlitz

I bought and installed the manzo kit.

I felt the spoon one was not worth the extra money. Considering installation is straight forward and I already have a big bottle of anti seize.

A friend has the spoon ones not installed sitting in his tool box for years. I bought the manzo ones of eBay. Seems the same. I measured quickly the ID and OD and they are the same. In the end it is just machined aluminium. Perhaps spoon went with 2014 and manzo went with 6061. But there is no easy way to tell. I installed the manzo it it went in fine. You just don't get the tube of JDM antiseize that spoon supplies with their kit.

I have a bottle of Loctite nickel I use.

The funny thing about that copper spoon antiseize is that it actually says "made in USA" on it.
