Talking BFG Sport Comp 2 vs Dunlop DIREZZA DZ102

i have the stock ap1 rims and the OEM tire sizes are 205/55/16 front and rear is 225/50/16

which tire should I get if i daily drive the car and take it up to the canyons for some fun

also should i stick to those tire sizes with the stock ap1 rims or should i go a little wider

yeah if your looking for an all around good tire with good grip and that also has excellent wet traction cause you DD your car, i would go with

the BFG G-force sport comp2's ive had these tires on a couple different cars and they are awesome for the money. they get good and sticky when hot and in the rain they just excel, you can drive with confidence without breaking the bank either! and i would buy them again in a heartbeat!

Check out the TireRack test results on the new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (Not the older "Wide Oval" version). They are Bridgestone Potenza RE003 outside of the US (successor to the RE760, which are RE001). Tirerack tests show that it's better than the Comp2's.

Those tires do look like a great option and for the price pretty reasonable. Only one dollar more for fronts and 6 dollars more per rear over the BFG. I would suggest not cheaping out on tires to save 100 bucks. With that said I would pick the BFGs if you had to chose one.

Had the DZ 102's and thought they were awful. Switched to the ZII's SS after 1000 or so miles.
