Default Bride seats in S2000, how fast do they fade?

Buddy warned me about them fading pretty fast in a convertible, but I'd like to know how long it takes before you can actually start seeing a difference in color when driving/parking top down in summer.

Just want to know if it's worth spending 2-3k on seats which might go ugly in a short period of time...
And once the damage is done, can you still repair it? Anything you can do to protect them from fading?

60K plus on mine. Zero fading, still soft as new.

Real deal bride seats are indestructible

Had mine for 2 years. Sold them and they were still brand new. Great seats.
