It takes a lot of money to get an item CARB approved
And I dont think you can get a high flow cat carb approved.
I think the tern "high flow" is just sort of descriptive, not something that is built to specific rules or parameters. It's just sort of a adjective. Sort of like the terms Max Performance or Ultra High Performance for tires. While they are widely used, all they really are is arbitrary descriptive categories of performance of tires completely subjectively created by Tire Rack.

I think if it reduces emissions like it's supposed to is all that matters.

2007 AP2 bone stock except for HFC

Impressions:

Dealings with Josh at Evasive Motorsports 10/10 I pmed Josh, received a message back within 15 minutes, i called and discussed shipping and payment, quick easy transaction. I received the HFC within 5 days (across the country). BTW Josh 10/21!!!!

Packaging: 10/10 See pictures, pipe and gaskets were secure within a nice thick cardboard box.

Installation/fitment: 10/10 This is a cakewalk, i purchased new hardware on the manifold side from Honda and my car has 41,xxx miles. no problems with seized bolts of anything. The pipe is secure has perfect bends, hits nothing and the O2 sensor bung is placed perfectly on the cat.

Sound: 9/10 This rating will differ for each person. If you are expecting a very very noticeable sound difference, realize this isn't a test pipe, there is slightly more bass to the exhaust, on WOT it is a few decibels louder. No difference in sound at idle whatsoever. I'm sure the sound will change once i put more miles on it. I'm not a fan of loud so this was a great choice for me. See video.

Power: 8/10 By no means do i know how much if any power was increased by this. If my butt readings are correct i feel it pulls stronger in the mid range slightly but i feel it is noticed. i have no dyno to prove any results but i would say without any other mods 3-5HP

Hope this helps guys! For the price and the fitment and the quality rep in Josh at Evasive i would for sure recommend this product to everyone in the market for a HFC.

^ Got my EVS HFC installed today and my impressions are the same as yours! Ordered from Josh at Evasive on Monday afternoon and got it today (Thurs). Fitment is on point, sounds the same at idle but has a lower tone on throttle. Paired up with K&N intake and Tanabe Medallion cat back.
Overall not too loud and car feels a little stronger in the mid range.

Evasive has some of the best customer service, especially with s2ki members.

The better question is.. Which aftermarket exhaust does this HFC pair well with in terms of sound and performance?

I'm about to pair it to a Miltek dual
