After driving around for a while with the new 5500k xb bulb, it's way better than those previous 6000k's. I definitely recommend them for how bright they are and the clean, crisp white they produce.

After almost a year and a half of these Morimoto xb 5500k bulbs, Ive noticed a significant decrease in output. I used to be able to distinctly make out my beam spread but now its just kind of a light white blanket with the edges semi blurred. They were great while they lasted but I think Osram CBI's are next. I never thought Id spend 150 on headlight bulbs but after seeing what the headlights could be when upgraded from old OEM and not too long later seeing them go back to being mediocre output, Ill pay for that extra quality everyone is talking about.

Unofficial spokesperson here for the CBI's. You won't be disappointed in them!

Just got some authentic CBI on amazon for $115. Impressed with them so far over my original OEM bulbs.

How is the Osram CBI's over long term? Are they as reliable as OEM?

Yep, I too jumped ship from XB35 5500K to CBI. Not looking back. CBI gives a broader output and really shines with the S2000 projector.

The CBIs are flat out ridiculously way better than any other HID bulbs I've used. CBIs well worth the $$$
