I know this particular bulb/brand has been discussed on many boards for a decent amount of time now.

I've run Philips, Morimoto, JS2K, Osram CBI and a few others and while the Morimoto is not bad, the overall quality in terms of brightness, light output, cutoff/color variance - I would say that the Osram CBIs still win.

JS2K were okay, but they aren't anything special, they are basically like your typical Amazon bulbs and the color shift changed within a year and I noticed that one bulb turned out to be shifted out of hue much quicker than the other, even with proper install and calibration.

Morimotos in my opinion are not bad for the price, but I would still opt for Philips or Osram - just my two cents.

I highly doubt they live as long as the Philips (or other $200+ bulbs) do.
