Crazy to support euroboutique. They possibly buy tops in good condition for 3k and then resell to the community for 4500-5000. I don't think we should be taking advantage of each other, instead we should be helping one another as we all have the same passion for this car.

If the price raises to $5000, I may consider alternatives. At $4500, I'll just have to eat instant ramen for a few months.
euroboutique is a online retailer, so they are there to profit, right? I'm sure the community members will resell to a fellow member at a more reasonable price.

I'm curious where Rick aka S4Play finds these HTs? His ads on eBay, Craigslist and Facebook groups have been around for months. He's either having a difficult time selling the ones shown in photos or replenishes them on an on going basis for cheap, then turning around and selling high.
Your better off finding examples from original owners at a decent price $3300-3500 before Rick does.

Prices are dictated by what the market will bear, and when people are still paying $3-4k for a hardtop it will continue.

Not sure if that's the way I'd do it, there's a few on here for sale, issue will be getting them to agree to shipping. I meant as response as to how euroboutique is doing it, which I would be buying from overseas in bulk (sort of) and having them shipped over. He might not be doing that, but it is what I'd do, purely for reselling them here in the States.
