I have an 05 silver stone with red/black interior.
I was thinking of painting the perforated head rest inserts red, to give it some pop from behind.
is this possible and has anybody tried it and if so are there any pics?

I'd personally just leave it. Red mesh would be an eyesore IMHO.

Given that a replacement net unit is only $25, I'd go for it. As I recall, part of it is rubberized but you can mask that off. And, you can always repaint it black. So, the risk is minimal if you want to give it a trial.
