It's been driving me crazy lately. The tab that holds the latch is broken so it rattles over every bump. Would this be a dealer part? Or know how to fix it?

I would guess - yes the dealership can order it for you. I would also guess that the best thing to do is to replace the entire latch.

You can order that part and change it out yourself. Might as well do the other side too.

I believe it's parts 60 (86250-S2A-J01, lock assemby, right handle) and 61 (86260-S2A-J01, lock assembly, left handle) - this is for a 2005. Not sure though...they sell for about $108.

jesus that is obscene pricing. I guess I can try some JB weld first. It's only the plastic that is broken and causes the rattling . But everything else works just fine.

find a used one and replace the entire latch. i luckily found one for my passenger side for $50 but people usually try to sell both for around $100
