This should really help with my current hardtop problem

Why can't they make a beefy bracket in one peice

Any improvements over the OEM brackets? I'm using OEM hardware on a Mugen hardtop and wondering if there's any reason I should consider "upgrading".

or... ya know... you can bend it yourself using a vice and pipe like what most people do in this case

it looks like a nice alternative option for hardware other than OEM, but i don't see an improvement over OEM. The top pieces of the OEM pcs are actually 2 pc, and it allows you shift the top around left or right (possibly front/back too).
