I have a Mugen header that I have wrapped, but am now a bit hesitant to install. I am using some of the newer DEI Titanium pro wrap as opposed to the older version of wrap. I have also used high temp paint on the header and high temp silicone on the wrap. I am running ITBs, so I am trying to keep temps down as much as possible. SO.....
1. Is the general consensus still that even the newer wraps destroy the header over time or cause cracking?
2. Is there a link to a way to mount the heat shield if the brackets aren't on the header itself?
3. Any other suggestions besides coating? (I have mine listed in FB classifieds in hopes of selling to replace with Berk coated)

Wrapping a header destroys it from the inside out

Does anyone know with certainty, the size of the OEM header collector? Trying to get a Test pipe and exhaust with the same diameter as the OEM header. I am not sure if its 60mm or 63.5???

It's 54.6mm inside diameter so a 60mm test pipe would be the best match.
