My mapper says the leaning up at the very top is because be has set the fuel cut at 7600 RPM. Otherwise according to him car gets 13 afr and there are not Air restriction issues that can be caused by an external problem. According to him the problem is something inside the engine that might have been caused by a mistake during the engine rebuilt.

all ap2 blocks are notched already, if it was a f20c block yeah you need to notch every cylinder

I did since that was the recommendation of the mechanic who rebuilt the engine. According to his that is a necessary brake in period before the remapping.

That is an AP1 Block. The oil squirters have been notched but my mechanic didn't do anything about the inside diameter of the cylinders I think.

Is notching the slight bent on cylinders I see on the picture or do you mean slight change of the inside diameter like going from 87mm to 87.25 mm?

You should ask yours.

that pic is of my block, its an ap2 block, i'm not talking about notching the pistons to clear the oil squirter i'm talking about notching the cylinder sleeve to clear the rod stroke

here is an ap1 block, you'll see the cylinder is not notched for the longer stroke

I see the pictures and I think notching to the cylinders has been done but was it to the necessary extent I cannot be sure. May be my best step from now on will be to take a look inside the engine and check for any mechanical problems. What do you guys think?
