How many windshields you been through?
#41
The reason I ask is because I have my original glass (which is still perfectly fine) but the outer rubber trim piece is not laying flat on the windshield frame in numerous spots anymore. There is a tsb re how to fix it. I took it to glass shop to do the tsb recommended fix because the dealer didn't want to do it. The glass shop tried and failed and recommended putting some goo (maybe silicone) in there to hold down the rubber trim and it came out looking like cr#p. So I'm considering a new windshield. I'll probably live with it until the glass is damaged enough to justify replacement. It does not leak. Just looks funky.
