I'm building the ultimate autocross tire trailer
#22
I hit a major milestone today, getting all of the suspension mocked up. Everything moves pretty nice and free. I can pull up in the axle end of the swingarm and compress the suspension almost an inch (wheel travel) do it's already accomplished one of my goals of having softer suspension than the harbor freight trailers. Try moving the suspension by hand on one of those things and they barely budge. When you just see the bare frame it looks massive, but start loading the boxes, tires, etc onto it and suddenly the proportions look perfect! It looks like it's exactly the size it should be.
