Do you know if the Sparco Evo II would also work on the PCI slider mount?
Update/FYI Brain from PCI told me that Evo II would not fit the slider so confused lol.

When you remove the right bottom lip with the grinder does that allow you to move the seat forward and back much more? Was that the main reason to remove or was it just to make the seat fit inside.

It allows for the seat to be properly centered and aligned straight. If not, it will either be offset on angled left.. That part of the seat is in direct contact with the trans tunnel

As mentioned already. The majority of the right lip needs to be removed. Don't be afraid to remove it. Once the foam is rolled over you won't be able to tell. Has to be done to center the seat.

Did you actually trim the fiberglass or just the foam on the wings and the bottom thigh supports? Are your slide brackets (for the seat mount) placed backward (left/right)?
I thought I would post this to help some of the bigger guys with seat choices etc. I have a 01 S2000 with full interior. I am 6' 2'' 205lbs size 34 waist, 34 length with wide shoulders.
The Sparco Evo II fits me well. To make it fit in the car I had to do some modifications, but overall was pretty straight forward. I had to remove the seat cover and use an angle grinder to trim both sides at the shoulders as well as the bottom towards the front on both sides. Don't be afraid to do this. Very easy. Afterwards I used 3M spray adhesive to glue foam back down. I also had to trim the right side seat rail as it was in the way for the back right bolt. Easy stuff. Just have to take in and out, test fit back and forth.
Drew a line where it was rubbing and would cut and try it back in and cut some more.
Area where shoulders were rubbing
Ran the seat belt over because it was snug over my thighs and the hole in the bucket didn't line up nicely.

Just installed my brother's seat. Both shoulder wings need to be trimmed a decent amount and the knee area by trans tunnel needs the whole lip removed. Once the cover issue back on it looks untouched.
