Default M1 autowerk lugnuts $32

Found some super cheap extended open end lugnuts. What your guys take on these? They're steel so I wouldn't worry about them too much...unless they're not really steel of course lol.

Super stronk chinese steel.
I guess they could do the job but I would rather spend a few more dollars and get something a bit more proven.

Yeah these are double the price but still cheaper than other brands and very light and good quality:

looks like "m1 autowerk" is most likely based out of Taiwan. Id still be very cautious about them.

Muteki sr48 can be had for under $50. I've used them for years on a few different cars without issue. Search ebay and amazon

Agree. I did a lengthy write up on MSI a couple months back. I'm very impressed with this product.

I still recommend the simple steel Vorshlag nuts. I have been using them on everything since like 2009 on track with no issues.

I ended up with the Evasive open ended lug nuts. they're on sale too. I wanted them to cover all the threads. Have you guys ever tried the Project Kics 7 sided lug nuts? Any good/bad reviews?

I"ve been using the same set of 949s since 2011. Now i feel like i should replace them with a new set of 949s just because.

I really don't think it matters what lugs you use just as long as you:
-torque to spec with a torque wrench - don't blast them with the impact gun
-torque only when cool - no coming hot off of a lapping session and torquing them
-pick the right seat/taper of the nuts so that they match the wheels
