Default There has to be some sort of instruction to post questions to this community.

It seems that typing key words into the search field always brings me to the same place, where there is only an extensive general discussion??? What is the procedure to actually get to relevant threads directly without having to go through the whole thing every time?

I agree with you 100%; it seems that I'm turning in circles, reading forever without getting nowhere productive.
Cheers, I'm with you on this.

someone forgot to change accounts? Use Google, S2ki is usually one of the first to come up then theres a link to only show S2ki links. Otherwise the built in search isn't that bad.

Hi, I'm trying to delete ALL electric and electronic devices without affecting engine performance; such as lights, AC and heating systems, etc. How far can I go to remove weight by deleting unnecessary equipment, yet keeping full engine performance. My S2K (year 2000) is being prepared for track use only. I have removed its rag top, radio equipment, AC and heating systems, door electrics (window and lock controls), and replaced its lights with dummy shells. Can I delete other equipment such as SRS and other?
I appreciate your experiences.

And. I see that you've already posted here:

And this - a 2200 lbs. build that still retains the a-pillars and a hardtop.

Lots of weight can be saved if you chop the a-pillars off and gut the transmission tunnel...
