Is there anywhere to pick up either the Hoosiers or the Kumhos besides Tire Rack? Specifically somewhere that would sell them cheaper?
I've got a co-driver this year and running two different series on top of that. I think I'm going to be spending a lot of money on rubber this year

Many race shops can get you Hoosiers -- Mid-Atlantic Motorsport is popular in the solo community. Their prices aren't going to be meaningfully different from Tire Rack's, though.
No idea where you can get V710s other than Tire Rack, but again I imagine a race shop or a tire shop that carries Kumho would be your best bet.

Several years ago the local Acura dealer was sponsoring me for autocross. He became the local distributor for Kumho and found that he couldn't get pricing even close to Tire Rack's where we ended up ordering them from...

Just thought I would share a new tire option. The Hankook Ventus Z214's comes in the right sizes for the AP1 (and maybe the AP2). I'm not sure how competitive it will be to the A6's or V710's but looks promising.
I'm not a national caliber driver, yet, but I thought I would give the Z214's a shot and go with 245/45's on all four corners. This will allow me to go full stiff on the FSB to address the rear wheel lift issue that seemed to be a bigger problem with the introduction of the tires.
We'll see. :-)

What about a "street tire" FAQ section!?
I'm just starting to run my '00 s2k and I'd like to run on STs.
One thing we've noticed is there's alot more grip w. an AP2 car compared to and AP1 when both on Streets. Wheel/tire width-wise.
What's the preffered size you can stuff on factory wheels to help even things out w. the AP2 guys??
I'm running stock sized RS2's and thinking I need something a little grippier and wider tire for atleast the next 2 series' locally.
R-comps will be in the future.
Input?
Gratzi!
