I love it. The guys that are dominating in TTC want it to stay and the guys that can't run TTC due to other reasons want TT5 yesterday, haha. My advice is guys that are running TTC should detune for TTC next year, and the guys running TTB need to spend some money and get ready for TT4. If you are spending that money though, why not join me in TT3 instead.

With the new Average HP calculation, wouldn't the current TTC S2000s actually be more competitive (with the ability to increase power or lower weight)? Sounds like this would make it more difficult for people without engine management to get close to the weight/hp ratio.

I'd like to start TTC next year, all these changes sure aren't making things easy... and will probably change again for 2018...

PTC/TTC or 5 is where our cars N/A best fit. There are some that make it work in TTB with lots of weight pulled out. I don't want to spend lots of money to go K series or FI and want a car that lasts longer than 3 hot laps when I go to ST or PT. Some don't want to dump tons of extra into their cars and are going to wait it out.

That's going to be tough to do! Any tips Mrsideways?

Edit: just read your Sig. K swap. Never mind then.

Lol, yes. It's easy to do... put a different motor in it.

Start pulling weight. That's the only way it will work. The FP S2000 at Solo nationals IIRC told me he is in the 1900lbs range. But there isn't much left to that car.

Was is the POS2000? That thing is just a motor and 4 275 Hoosier A7s.

my car is caged with no interior, no dash, no passenger seat, no HVAC. Only thing left is cut out trunk, replace OEM top with fiberglass, headlights gutted, fenders, brakes, etc. Most of which cost $ to replace rather than just removing things.

Just looked up the POS2000. Holy crap. There's no way I would feel comfortable removing that much of a car and then going out on a road course with other people.

Using the ST calculator I found the only adjustment modifications that would probably apply to most of us is +.7 for smaller than 245 tires and -.1 or -.2 for under a 3000 or 2600. If I'm understanding this correctly, to get close to 12:1 for TT4 you would need 205hp and 2360lbs. or 210hp and 2420. So basically weights unobtainable by most S2000s.

TTC would make sense, but if we're all getting 12.86:1 dyno reclass, how are we supposed to get to a minimum of 14.5:1? Will we all be reclassed to 14.5 without modification factors? (I'm asking on nasaforums).
