I guess I don't feel your pain when it comes to picking one of several good choices of tires/sizes which will last appreciably longer than Hoho's which were fun to run on. I guess I'm looking at the cup half full, not half empty.

Going from str to stock should not be a big deal. One thing that we do sometimes is drive some of the other cars that we have such as the elise and a friends c stock brz to sharpen our skills a bit. The bsp car is easier to drive but you really have to be on the limit all the time in order to be quick. One thing that we have realized on the bsp car is that it allows for very different driving styles yet the times can be very similar. One of us is a point and shoot driver and the other just hangs it out, yet our times are very similar. Data shows this as well.

^^ i would be too scared in a BSP car. I see how Steve drives it, it seems like you really have to push it to the ragged edge to get the times. maybe in time i would build up the courage for it. Im still rather new. i was in RTR just last year and i think STR is gonna be a handful.

The str setups have changed a lot of the past year or two. The cars are being run much softer. Even on the bsp car we have turned bars much softer than in stock or even in str.

Bumping this thread as now i am in the A street game. I will be starting from a dead stock CR and will modify as I go along. I have to admit I am pretty intimidated by the Z06 and Cayman S. Not to mention the drivers in them. NNJR has a pretty good talent pool in this class. Any input as to tire pressures for stock size Rs3v2 for a CR. Also is it even worth disconnecting the rear bar while i wait for my obligatory big front bar?
