Trailering a Ruckus
So I've been doing lots of research here on s2ki on putting a hitch on my S. I know alot of the track guys pull small trailers for autoX. My goal is to be able to tow my Honda Ruckus on a utility trailer or maybe even a small motorcycle trailer. The tow will be all highway between here and Iowa mostly so I can have both my toys when I'm home on leave and also for going to meets and shows things of that nature. I've seen some discussion from members and I just wanted to do a quick poll to get some personal opinions. I like the chase race hitch because it it removable and no drilling required. But I like that the curt hitch is half the price of the chase race hitch. I know everybody is about saving money. So tell me what you think, which would you use and why?
Also little side note... I seen a topic regarding which exhaust fits with the hitches. I did see Invidia V3 fits with the chase race on MY00-03 but what about MY04+? I am currently running that exhaust.

It is very easy to make a chase race like hitch. It's just a matter of finding a "friend" that can weld. I have made three at this point and it really is not very hard. Just know that the diff is not centered, so the front mount is offset relative to the diff.
Home Made Hitch
If you are going to buy, spend the extra money and get a Chase Race hitch or find one used.

I recommend Chase Race because that's what I use and proven to be very reliable and easy to install and uninstall once in the track. It only takes three pins to remove the entire trailer hitch. You just have to be careful from the hot exhaust when installing it back after track event.
