you gotta drive PERFECTLY in order to keep up or beat the Z
otherwise it will walk you after 3rd
iv had my share of races with Zs....im a good driver , and iv had mixed results...from staying dead even , to completely distroying
good luck!

BTW...there is no WAY you can compare a stock stang GT with a 350Z
the diffrences are way too big
drive a mustang, then drive a Z...to see what im talking about
the Z is just slightly less athletic than the s2k

axxizzer its gonna be a drivers race with a slight advantage to the S from a start. Its just based on races that I have seen. As a secondary source the majority of magazines have the 0-60 and 1/4 times out edging the 350z. I look primarily to the reviews of the 00-01 s2k models. I'm sure these specs are the same for the 02+ models also.

I went up against a weird Z driver before to. I pulled up next to him doing about 40 and looked over. He took off so did I. By 100 I had about 6 cars on him maybe more. At the next light he pulls over to the very right lane. I dont see him so when light turns green he launches like a maniac. I take off regular and pass him by beggining of 3rd and put another few cars on him. Next light he does the same thing. Right lane I dont see him and he dlaunches again. By than I was like screw it how many times does he have to lose to get the point.

Ive heard the 350 coupes run (very) low 14's stock. With the availible intake, exhaust, and ECU that stillen is coming out with soon a 350z Coupe will probably be in the mid/low 13's for under $1,000.

I run a stock 300z TT. I raced a 350 with Intake and exhaust and he beat me pretty bad.

The bottom line is you cant win races on paper... The z is much easier to drive. If you master the S 2K you should be able to beat it after 3rd gear. I don't beleive the guy who says he took off normal and then walked the Z... That's BS!
