Wasn't early-'90 NSX a high 13-sec car, with 270hp?

Yeah I also thought a comparison was done on the two cars from honda and acura. I thought the only time the NSX really had the edge was when the two were tested on the track? I dont know but I remeber reading this somewhere or maybe it was in my head.

I believe you...
Older 3.0 NSX are not that much faster than an S2000. I'll say also the driver had to do a lot with this outcome.
Don't try that on a new 6MT 3.2 version with a capable driver.
Someday I will buy one to store and show my grand children what a real marble of engineering was all about in my days.

ET has no bearing on this. Trap speed does, and they still trapped well over 100 IIRC.
You guys are idiots! This story is fully believable, yet you doubt the outcome, when some other outcomes on here are MUCH more doubtful. The 3.2L is, indeed, much faster than the S2000, but not a 14 yr-old 3.0L. And we're not even taking drivers' abilities into the equation.

Yeah it's very true I feel. I had a few encounters with a couple of NSX's. A good buddy of mine owned one lightly modded nd we use to ride out every week or what not...I wont say the S is faster obviously, but if an older NSX without a great driver is to pull up..I wouldn't count the S2000 out...
I cant find the single video right now while im up at work..but if you care..fast foward exactly to 6:35 into my long ass video, you can see one of the runs I have with a NSX..

I believe it. You guys are forgetting...HE LOST! "I don't believe you lost to an NSX." Haha, if this was an Evo, you guys would have said, "nice run, was it an VIII, we have faster top end, aerodynamics, gearing, rwd vs awd" blah blah blah. Listen the NSX is my dream car, I still want one and probably will in a few years. I know they're our older brothers in the honda family, but the old 3.0's weren't THAT fast. What'd you expect, for him to get his doors blown off?

you guys dont have to belive me but it really did happen! mabye i should just mount a camera in my s so everytime i post a race i can post a vid. i plan on getting a nsx in the future but it deff will be a late 90's model. and also the kid sounded like he shifted slow hence why i said he droped back everytime he shifted and then would come back when he was in his gear.
