Beat an Audi TT Roadster

Maybe he was chipped? According to the published output for the chipped 225, they'd be pretty close to an S2K on the roll, and probably get a jump off the line.
Otherwise, on the street, anything is possible. He could be going a little faster at the start, could have gotten a jump on you, etc. You run what you brung and hope you don't get beat.

My girlfriend has a 225 hp Quattro TT and it's a pig. I love it when we get an opportunity to play around on the highway. I'd be pretty ticked off if I paid almost $40,000.00 for one of those things. I haven't really seen any published numbers for them but after driving one, I can tell you it should have been more than one car length, especially at those speeds.

UL nailed it, it was probably chipped. I raced one in almost these exact circumstances and it was fading fast as I kept pulling hard. No real contest (at speed)...from a launch, quattro lauches good...but unless he was modded, it should have been a lot more than a single car length...
Nice kill, either way...
