I was going 40mph in 3rd gear with top down just enjoying the night. Then I see this pair of head lights coming closer really fast in my rear view. Right then I knew someone wanted to play. He slowed down to my pace which was 40mph and gave me the nod, so I downshifted to second gear and here we go. I pull half car on him and then we were dead even until 3rd. In 3rd gear I am slowly pulling away from him, and on 4th I was 2/3 car ahead. Then we had to slow down because of the traffic. It was very close race overall and I wonder who would have won if we started from dead stop...
P.S- I didn't get to see what kind of Camero it was since I never saw the rear of the car. Do you guys think it's Z28 or SS?

the SS doesn't add much horsepower.. they are about equal in performance.. it is possible for us to beat a current LS1 model w/ a bad driver or automatic..
or you could tell if it was a LT-1.. cause it would have to slit openings in the hood.. or if the SS a big scooped opening but it would look more straight and squared then the current molded looking hood scoops

If it was an SS, it says SS on the side of the car. Also comes with some different rims.

Ok, rounded headlights are the LS1s and square, pulled back headlights are LT1s (I like to call these Geo Storms on steroids). Now if you saw the hood, you would know if it were an SS or a plain jane Z28. On both LS1s and LT1s, there is a single hood scoop that the Z28s don't have.
And there is a fairly large difference between an SS and a Z28. Also, an LS1 driver would have to be terrible IMO not to beat a stock S2000. Hope this helps.

completely flat hood either means..
1. new LS1 z28 w/ a bad driver or automatic.
2. you have a supercharger.
3. it was a 6 cyclinder RS.. they still run low 15's.. bout the same as what.. a civic SI?
