This new format of the forum looks really pretty but isn't very functional. I had a hell of a time making my last post and I only posted it once.

ok. I would still love to own an M3 but they have greater issues in reliability than the S2000. Lucky you yours have being great or should I say unlucky you the S2000 has given you problems.

http://yoy.com/auto/m3_failletters.shtml There is a little more information about it out there.

I still love the M3 but just to point out to those owners in the M3 boards stating that Honda sucks to think twice before saying such things . thats all folks!
Hey Tommy you have to take me for a ride in the SMG.

In underrated's defense, I'm sure he did that in the spirit of competitive fun so chill peeps.

Also the only engine problems the E46 M3 ever experienced was on certain 2001 models.

I used to own an 2001 E46 M3 and it was quite problematic, but nothing related to the engine. My current 2004 M3 has been fine so far. I attribute the problems on the 2001 to first model year bugs.

My 2001 S2000 had tranny problems, the 2nd gear grind and decel buzz. My 2002 S2000 has been relatively problem free, replaced the rear left spindle nut and had a CEL come on due to a loose sensor.

In my experiences with both, the M3 and S2000 are both EXCELLENT automobiles and no one is more reliable than the other per se. Sometimes shit happens.

Under-rated, you have a serious hardon for your car, man. YOu talk about not being able to stomach the fact that an M3 got walked?

I demolished an M3 a few weeks ago. Gave him the lead, took it back, lifted, then got back in it and ran away from him. If I lose to a turbo m3 next week, its not really going to avenge anything, is it?

THeres always someone faster.

Btw, $5 on bigpurp. Any takers? (Keep the top up when you run, though...). Its ALL about the silverstone/red. Cheesy carpet on the console, and all.

Let's not turn this into a BMW or M3 bashing thread, please. The M3 is an amazing piece of machinery, as is the S. I think we can all agree on that.

And Pakisho, you crack me up, brother. That cheezy red carpet bugs the sh*t out of me too.

Tommy, you and I are in agreement. From a roll, it might be closer, but from a dig, I believe I would be at a serious disadvantage.

under-rated, you are simply a braying jackass. Why are you starting sh*t over on the M3 boards? How old are you? 15? I just love kids who wanna race their friend's car against my car "so bad" b/c they know their OWN car doesn't stand a chance. Tell you what, if you wanna see me lose "so bad," why don't you drive your sorry ass down here and we can race YOUR car against MY car? How's that? Yeah, that's what I thought.

From now on, don't PM me or call me out on this board again. I will meet your M3 friend at one of our local club meets and work out details with him directly. You can give Tommy his info and I will deal with Tommy, assuming he has the time to deal with you. I don't.
I'm 22, in the real estate business... I'm just trolling the boards I guess and came across you killing a stock M3! I simply brought forth a worthwhile encounter. Besides I'm never out of line until some punk b!tch makes a stupid remark... lol.

Uhhh, it's "you're" (as in, "you are"), NOT "your." Just a suggestion, but instead of spending all that money on "your" car, you might want to spend it on an education.

Oh, and mav's M3 is faster than yours.
