Very bad idea. If this is a true story, then either one of those drivers probably only had to move a couple of inches to really screw up your day. In a situation like that, people have a tendency to panic and do "the wrong thing". You got lucky that didn't happen to you. Hopefully it scared the bejeezus out of you enough to convince you not to do it again.

C'mon guys... I'm sure that everyone has had a common sense lapse on the road. ...aka... We've all done something stupid!

yells2k's biggest mistake... posting it on this thread!

I'm not braggin' about it, because I know it was stupid... but at the time, like anyother time adrenalin kicks in... I was racing a guy, and a slow car merged in front of me... so with about 20 yards left in the "on-ramp"... I passed him.

Fun at the time... pulled on the car (a fk'n BMW SUV!! ) but as I drove, I realized how stupid it was.

Great maneuver !!! Takes some skill and luck to pull that off. I think it was out there but everyone drives that crazy in NY. What part of the expressway were you on?

True, but if he posts here and we all pat him on the back, then he'll think it's OK to do it again. I've done my share of stupid things, but I don't condone them.

Not a kill either, all though you could've killed the guy. You got boxed in, so you decided to cut him off... lucky you didn't get rear ended.

Next time race when there's no cars in sight, then your not endangering others. Not saying I haven't done it, but I never weave in and out of traffic, long clear straights are the way to go.

I did that "split the car" thing a long time ago... when I was 17, definitely not smart to do... that was the first and last time I did that.

What happened was a person in front of me threw something out of the car (on the freeway), and it shattered my windshield. He took off and I gave chase. I caught him when he got stuck on an off-ramp and issued a "false crack" where it involved making his nose touch the back of his head.

Road rage is very bad, but stupid mofos on the street are worse.
