i was in my type R and got completely crushed... i spun a little on start and that was it.... i was like 4-5 car legnths behind at about 70mph! I'll go hunting in the S2000 next time!

of course I never (NEVER) got to race anything decent when i had the TYPHOON (made for street racing i think)

Is your Type R stock? Some guy on h-a.net is running 14.4s with an intake/header/exhaust/V-AFC. I saw a type R running 14.2s with an intake/header/exhaust/cams.

I ran against a '00 GT that went 14.5. 4-5 lengths is alot, especially at 70. It might have been pretty modded.

Who knows, different people, different results...

BTW, thanks for answering my PMs about your TE-37s.

I was actually getting nervous/sweating reading the title of the thread. I though you got crushed by the GT in your S. But I'm happy now. 4-5cars is not actually alot if you didn't have a good launch. Did he immediately jump 3-4 cars on you or graduately pulling up to 3-4 cars?

i have no idea if the mustang was stock or modded... all i know is that I got my ARSE handed to me!!!

THAT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IN THE TYPHOON!!... but the Type R doesn't rattle like the typhoon either...

I am leaving the Type R all stock (5.8k miles only 300 of them made). I will just have to not race people (ahahah)
