Shot! Isn't that being a bit charitable? The guy needs to be slowly torturted for a crime like that. Shooting is much too quick. I'm thinking Army Ants.

The list is much longer on the convertibles than the coupes, but the factory seems to be focused on producing the spiders. the dealers are not getting many allocations for coupes so it will probably take almost as long to get a coupe. Hey, I am in for one if you want to setup a group buy! j/k But if you haven't taken one out for a spin, rent the 355 spider from park place. Pretty cool.

Group buy? As in we all kick in $100 and get to drive the car for a day once every couple of years? The rest of the time we pay for shipping it all over the country? Hmmm, that could be fun.

There is a guy at work with a 355 Spider, he wanted to drive the Stook, I'll see if I can drive his car in exchange. Fair dont' you think?

Shot? You guys are weird. Check out a Ferrari Challenge race sometime. Tons of 360s, some 355s, all with rollcages and big wheels and - stickers! And those cars are so freaking beautiful... Sigh.

Yeah maybe you're right. I bet Claudia Schiffer or Cristy Turlington would look really hot with tatoos and piercings all over their bodies as well. I'm think stickers are add, and roll cages are protection. But I guess its just a matter of taste.

I've found these nice stories best capture the ferrari experience:
http://www.nsxfiles.com/ferrari_fever.htm
http://www.nsxfiles.com/fcar.htm
http://www.nsxfiles.com/f355_update.htm
The final chapter that's not in those links is that they all sold their f355's after the nasdaq tanked except for one who now only drives it on sunday and a s2000 daily.

And there's a f355 challenge car for sale at Wide World of Cars.

The F355 Challenge cars were Ferrari modified for race duty in the Ferrari Challenge race series. Now they race 360s in the Ferrari challenge, but you can still find some F355s in the Motorola Cup. However, you find many; you need a Viper, Corvette T2 or 911 Challenge car to see the Podium in the MC.

I saw a few F355c cars at AMLS weekend at Charlotte last year in the Speedvision WC race. A girl who was paralyzed in a horse riding accident drove one. The car was full hand operated. Pretty cool.
