Pulled 1 car on the Type-R 60-101.

Pulled two cars on the Boxster(non S) 72-100.

and stayed even with the Ferrari from 80-115. not sure of the model, it was an older convertible. like the one in the movie weird science.

Then just for sh!ts and giggles I hit 120 even over a bridge...this car is rock solid at 120!

the fact that I did not pull harder on the R suprised me, till I got home and found I was 4 X's low on OIL!!!

SWEET!!!!

For any law enforcement types reading this board the above number are Kilometers

I think the ITR is a better challenge for the S than the regular Boxster. Boxster S is a different story.

I agree with YoungS2K, the ITR is definitely a better match. I have raced many Boxsters (non S) and they are pretty dissappointing on the highway. I usually try to give them a several car head start, sort of a handicap for the S2000, still results in the same ending. The Boxster sucks at highway racing.

When I had my Type R, I could keep up with the S2000s on the street and on the track. ITRs are VERY capable cars. I miss my baby

Oh, I forgot... my R was slightly modded I know I wouldn't win at the time but they are not pulling away either. But hey, I have my S2K now and there are no comparison.

A properly driven S2k will beat by about 4-6 car lengths a properly driven type R on the 1/4.
