okay first of all I was not sure if he was pushing it as hard as it could go which is why i posted this thread. I am not familiar with the 911, have only been in a carrera. So was just curious as to if he really could waste me or not. which I stated in the thread. And as for the road it was a little bendy but not terribly.
I thought about it since, and come to the conclusion that it could of been daddys car and he did not want to push it. He seemed pretty young to own a brand new one. Anyhow I got my answer so thx.

Can't believe you actually thought you could beat a 911/996 Porsche Turbo, in an s2k. lol.

But I will say this, how about Sideway's vs a stock 911 996 TT. Anyone know if he's ran the 1/4 mile. 360 rwhp s2000. Setups like this makes me respect this car.

Sideway's (Phil) please host a vid.

Guys he probably was taking some serious curves and the driver of the 911 TT was a chicken. If he would give more details it would help but if it was a drag race theres no way that happened unless the driver of the Porsche was really scared of pushing the car. This is street encounters not "which car is faster in a drag race" . Shit happens and of course all of you know that the Porsche 911TT will beat an S2000 in reverse.
i don't care it it was in the twisties or not. a 996tt will put an ass wooping on pretty much any s2000 on any the road... simple as that. in fact if it was in the twisties you could put my grandma in the tt and she would woop your ass. i have driven both personaly... my father just sold his tt for his merc and the more you push the turbo the better it drives. the awd system in the car performs so flawlessly it could give the worst driver in the world the feeling he is schumacher.

Who said the S2000 would beat it in the curves? Read throughly before quoting me .
Everyone knows is no competition in any way.

Yes.

And I have to concur: a Turbo rapes pretty much anything on the road under $60K...
- movie line: "do you concur?"

I really think you guys have a real misconception as to were I live. I live in a area named St Marys (20 min north of london) and do not see alot of exotic cars. In fact mine is the most elaborate in the area, anyhow I have an s2k and am learning about all sorts of cars as I go !! I value this site to learn about cars and love talking about them on this site.
I value all positive input about cars and do not appreciate negative, thanks..
In the future can you please leave more helpful sugestions insted of making fun, I would appreciate it thx.
