I raced an M5 with my car when I had a standard pulley on it and I still beat it by a fair amount. It was off the line from idle. Wanna say a couple car lengths atleast. So I can see Sideways being able to pull ahead so quickly considering he's making at the wheels what I was probably making at the flywheel.

CORRECTIONS:

The new 2005 M5 with the 507hp 5.0L V10 is the e60 model. And no, it is not out yet. The official specs for the car only came out about a week or so ago.

The e39 M5 was a 4.9L V8 (not 5.0 ) with 394hp.

Yeah... the dude above corrected me. E90 is the new M3 bodystyle slotted for late 05 - 06...

E60 is the new M5 bodystyle... Sideways raced the E39 modded. Dinan M5 is fast.
