S2000 vs. Eunos Roadster
My Car: 1999 JDM API with Amuse R1 Ti Dual Exhaust, Tegiwa Intake
His Car: MK1 Eunos Roadster with straight through exhaust, cage, bride seats. (Possibly FI)
I was on my way back up to Norwich last night on the M11 cruising along in the inside lane and next thing I know this exceedingly loud mx5 pulls along side me, with a cage and bride seats. He grins at me drops it down a gear and spits flames before zooming off in the outside lane (after which I naturally follow)
We had a couple of touge style runs however he stuck with me all the way to, let say, 70...(*ahem*) and I couldn't quite keep up with him when he took the lead.
Eventually there was a clear section where we had a pull side by side, and although I made sure I started in vtec there was nothing I could do to pull alway from him.
Now I feel like a right mug and I know that he'll be telling all his friends about it , maybe I should just kill myself, or buy a SC...
Quite frankly I'm devastated about then entire affair,
Excuses? I had a fair amount of luggage in the boot.
Sorry to let down the side chaps.

Its like the mighty car mods guys, a turbo'd mx5 with lsd, suspension and decent tyres is about 0.06seconds quicker on a 1/4mile than a standard s2k.
You still drive an s2k with plenty of room for improvement if you are worried about losing

miatas are no joke once its boosted or swapped.
bright side is a stock s2k price = a boosted miata.
i love miata from the way it handles and drive but i love the s2k looks. you would win if you modded the same amount as that miata.
im 100% positive that is not a stock miata...those thing are slower then a honda Odyssey...i know from my 1990 na miata
