i thought that with 400whp it'd be an easy kill with the R8. coz mine at 359whp is faster than an r8 through the first 4 gears. but i have my car weight reduced from many aspects.
good runs anyways. have fun safely and dont under estimate a 4 banger

400 whp in a 2700-2800 lb RWD sports car should be quicker than ~400 whp in a 3500-3600 lb sports car even with AWD.

I appreciate your willingness to help!
However, this isn't just an average ticket. It explicitly says that I have to bring my back to stock as any and all modifications are illegal in the state of California...even if the parts are CARB certified.

Basically the cop had his doubt's and now they will find out.
You are screwed because
A. AEM ecu doesn't support ODBii. Really should have went Kpro, you might have had a chance.
B. you are running way more boost than a stock kit.
C. Your exhaust is definitely illegal. Catalytic converter removed in cali = bad idea.
I only bother with this post in case someone reads it in the future looking for CARB info in Cali. You CAN have CARB certified mods, you just can't change them from how they come from the manufacturer.

Peak horsepower doesn't always accurately depict how fast a car is. Power under the curve is very important. An inline 4 with a centrifugal supercharger is peaky and does not make a lot of power under the curve.

i'm the most impressed with your run with the stage 3-ish b5 S4. those things are monsters with the turbo swap. if he's truly making 460awhp he should have all the fuel upgrades as well...those things are stupid fast. very good showing for your s2k to keep up and even beat him up top.

The video of the botched race is already uploaded on the internet, however, I'm going to refrain from posting it until the race with a better start is uploaded.
I guess my buddy uploaded the botched start because my car sounded better in that video or something.
