Default 4 hours in a manual

I am very tired of a manual as I was stuck in traffic for 4 hours taking someone to the airport. I have a 2005 Suzuka Blue that is stock and everything works on the car. No accidents, fabric top does not leak and it has a hardtop, a titanium shift knob, a small spoiler that was installed at time of purchase and a hanging lift for the hardtop. It has never been raced or gone to the race track. I replaced the carpets with one piece black and did the Science of Speed hood dampers.
The drivers side windshield sprayer was plugged but I fixed that. The car is original, does not burn oil and has 52,000 miles. The car has been mine for 18 months and I bought it from a dealer with 48,000 miles on the odometer. The previous owner turned it in for a TT. The tires are new. It is taken out rarely and I am retired. I looked into getting a 2015 or 2016 GTI. What do I offer the car for and is there interest in the car. I am in Mill Creek, Washington.

Being mired in traffic is always less than enchanting no matter if you are in the back of a limo or driving a manual. I am surprised, given your location and work obligation status, that you are not enjoying that very manual transmission on the wonderful roads and scenery your state of residence offers. I have driven all over your state, neighboring states and provinces and I live in California.

I am fortunate to have a DD I use for downtown/traffic/airport beater use and keep the S for fun, discretionary driving.

Your unmolested, low milage, stock car should be desirable for many.

Traffic sucks in any vehicle. 4 hours of it is downright terrible. If the S is your only car then yeah, sitting in LA traffic on a daily would not be fun. It's a nice second car.
If I were you I'd buy an inexpensive DD and keep the S2k for the weekends. It's a lovely car and to get rid of a stock one with low miles like yours would be a shame.

If you must get rid of it start your asking price at what you paid for it. I also agree with MrFunk....keep it and get a car for daily driving.

I paid $21,000 for the car. My wife drives an Audi Avant A4 and I have a two car garage. She goes her way volunteering and I go volunteering twice a week. I have always kept the car in the garage.

'05 with that many miles is "worth" $19K here on the North Coast. What it's worth in Seattle I'm guessing will be similar. Ask $21K. (No one ever heard of Mill Creek. )

These cars are strictly summer cars for me. Two person family they're the 3d car, not a primary car.

It's a 3rd car for us as well - summer only.

OP if you only are sick of it only driving 2 days a week then perhaps this is not the car for you. It's not for everyone.
You can prob get 20k for it with the right buyer. It's all in how you market it and present it.
You will want to post it for sale elsewhere though.

One bad 4hr stretch in the S and you want to sell it? Think of the many many many hours of fun you had on the other days.

Default ##Official## Whats my car worth?

I understand the rules for selling a car. Sorry. I tried to sell my car but I did not have sufficient privileges or a moderator disabled my account. I am a registered user. Gigdy told me about my failing. What do I do? I need to list the car.
