I'm not interested in burnouts, nor quarter miles.

My request had come solely for a photo opportunity as my rear tyres are nearly gone.

As for low torque, I need more, from 340ft lbs to 150ft lbs is hell.

It takes a lot of skill to win a road race.
It takes quite some skill to win at autocross.
It takes more than a little to win a quarter sprint.
It takes none at all to do a burnout.

When a lady interviewer asked Fangio , after winning his 3Rd world championship, how he put his car into a slide he was most offended. His answer, "madam I spend my entire time on the track preventing slides, not initiating them".

My son, when he was young & very silly, destroyed a rather nice old V8 Falcon doing burnouts with it. I pointed out that I spent my entire time on the track preventing wheel spin, not initiating it.

It took a while, but he has grown up a bit now.

Don't grow up to much. Next thing you know you aren't having fun anymore. There is no correlation with skill and with fun. However, I also have fun kicking some ass out on the road course, and that happens to take some skill. One is simple fun, the other isn't so much. It requires effort.

Yep, that and the wear and tear on the car which ends up costing the owner cash. It's just pointless.
