Acceptable Compression Test Results?

Know this is an old thread, but I just bought a 2003 with 60k miles on thanksgiving and during the inspection when the car was traded in the numbers came out as....

#1 215 psi
#2 215 psi
#3 220 psi
#4 215 psi

I am assuming these are fairly normal numbers for my model and mileage.

Yup, those numbers indicate a healthy engine.

OP possibly the test was done with out the gas pedal floored.

That does make a big difference. I did a compression test not too long ago with my 03 with 65k miles and for the first 2 cylinders I realized I wasn't pressing the gas pedal down. My numbers were still in the low 2's, but when I redid them all correctly, it jumped up to between 235 and 245.

Yeah nice and consistent which is key. Could have been done on a colder engine or not pushing gas pedal down which usually shows a little lower numbers as well so I would be happy with them!
