Baby Seat in AP1 - I know I know RTFM Don't have it with me
Hi all,
New dad here with 9 month at home. My S2000 doesn't see much road time and soon it will see even less as my sons day care is 15 or 20 minutes from my home. My daily is getting detailed today so t otake my S i have to drop him at day care then drive all the way home to get my S then drive passed the day care on my way to work, Kind of a PITA!
so my son is now in a large baby seat, not the infant kind that has a base that stays in the car. its rear facing and i simply use the anchors in my audi to keep it well... anchored.
i've nver had to belt one of these seats in, looks like a pain but i suppose possible in an S. Also would need to turn the airbag off, possible in AP1? how?
Thanks... i know he's safer in my daily but as he gets older i think he would dig sitting next to his dad looking at trees. Getting this by my wife will be tough... another conversation for another day.

Your Car is Not Recommended for Child Passengers Since all children are safest in the back seat of a car, and your car does not have a back seat, we recommend that you do not carry a child passenger. Due to the passenger's airbag hazard, you should never carry an infant in a rear-facing child seat in this car. If a small child who must be restrained in a forwardfacing child seat, or a larger child, must ride in this car, be sure to follow all instructions and safety warnings in this manual. (See pages 26 and 29.)
