Slick steering wheel, sweaty hands....

I personally gave up sweating in 2014.

I've always driven both my s2ks with gloves on for this very reason. A $20 set of mechanix gloves was my choice. I have since updated to some Sparco FIA gloves.

I also have sweaty palms, luckily for me I have to wear FIA gloves on track haha. When I used to drive it on the street I just used mechanic gloves or have the AC vents pointed at my hands.

Properly clean the wheel and get the oils off of it. Leather cleaner and a leather brush... there are vids on youtube on how to properly clean leather.
I use Adam's leather cleaner.
Other option is suede. But that requires proper maintenance as well.
Here's my wheel - my OE wheel had horribly cracked leather when I bought it so I swapped it out.

Get a Wheelskins cover:

Makes my wheel feel nice and thick and grippy and it protects the stock wheel from my sweaty hands. And the leather lacing looks cool..
