You're talking to the wrong OG's. You need to step up your game. This OG has had an S2000 since November of 1999. And, upgraded within 18 months to the first supercharger that ran on an S2000 (outside of the Comptech factory mule), the first electronic fuel management on an S2000 (VAFC), the first custom vented hood, the first Mugen 3-piece spoiler, and the second set of front bumper brake ducts on an S2000. You see, some OG's are just so far ahead of the game.

2001 at Road America - supercharged.

Get used to it. It is actually one of the things I enjoy about owning this car. You don't end up getting baited into uninteresting car talk as often and fly under the radar a bit. You also don't sound like a snob to anyone bragging about your sports car. They think you have an accord. People who are true enthusiasts will know what an s2000 is and respect it for what it is. The ones who know what it is but think they are too good for it usually are uninteresting to talk to anyways. They are typically the more money than brains type that will brag that their car says the P word on it or any other brand tag. Generally, it's a win win in my book. You will still get ricers, snobs, and those who call it a "girly car". Those people don't know what they're talking about anyways or at least that's what I tell myself. Most people think you have a civic or accord until they see it. Real car enthusiasts will talk to you. Others are surprised by the fact that it says Honda on it.

^I live in this OG's neighborhood.

The S2000...and a lot of good Hondas have some Accord in them. A lot of good trickles down from Accords...as it is probably the least killable car on the road. One cannot kill an Accord.

Ain't no shame in an Accord.

Just saying. If the choice was to drive an Accord or not drive an Accord...

I'd choose Accord.

Absolutely not. I absolutely would not. No.

you cannot see me, but I am shaking my head in disbelief and disagreement.

Are you certain that it was not just lemon scented in order to preserve freshness?
