yup when I did my first valve adjustment, most of the exhaust were tight. I didn't do this until 80k. At the time, I was getting random rich condition so I went through MAP and O2 sensor. Next was going to replace the injector but I did the VA instead. Glad I did cause it solved all my issue.

Good question on the stock tune. I have been on flashpro for 30k before doing the VA.

This thread got me worried. What symptom of having a burnt valve? maybe I dodge a bullet.

A quick way to tell is if you put your hand/piece of paper over the tail pipes, and if it tries to suck them into the exhaust every so often, you'll prob have have a burnt valve.

We'll be doin another Billman visit at my place early next Spring if you can wait that long. His shop might be closer to you than I am though.

Crap. I will have to get on this asap. I did my buddy's 05 and some of his exhaust valves were tight. Need to definitely check mine after thanksgiving. Will report my findings here.

can you tell me or show me how to adjust mine. I wonder if maybe this is why I'm getting a P0171 CEL... please help...
