ABS Control unit powers on when?
I'm wiring up a SoS pulse converter to my left front wheel's + and - wires for the ABS wheel speed sensor.
I verified I'm seeing 12V from my Infinity's AUX connector (pin 8). The SoS pulse converter's output is connected to the Infinity's Digital6 input (input 6 on the AUX connector).
When I turn the ignition to the ON (II) but don't start the car, spin the left front wheel, and look to see if I can see the wheel speed via Digital6 on the AEM software: I don't see anything
BUT I found in the Honda s2000 manual that
This _seems_ to say that the ABS control unit isn't powered on until after starting the car? But I could be wrong...
I haven't tried starting the car because I've winterized my s2000 and really don't want to turn it on just to test this.. so bottomline: will the ABS control unit not power on, and not be able to listen to the ABS wheel speed sensor signal, until I actually start the car?
I'll reach out to SoS on Monday as needed. But any help would be appreciated.

If the system is OK, the ABS indicator goes off 2 seconds after turning the ignition switch to ON (II) without starting the engine, and then comes on again and goes off 2 seconds later after starting the engine. This occurs because the ABS control unit is turned on by the IG2 power source.
