Any DIY's for Spoon Rigid Collars?

I bought the eXedium Racing collars and both A & B did not fit the 2 rear most holes on the cars frame. This was the case for both sides. Anyone have similar problems?

As far as a rebview goes, I replaced my torn compliance bushings with Mugen ones, replaced my control arms with ones from 2007 and 2009 MY, and put rigid collars in the front.

1. The car is SIGNIFICANTLY quieter in the cabin
2. The ride quality is night and day WAY BETTER
3. Handling is much better (obviouslt), as it is not longer tucking the tires under during hard cornering.

I am planning to install the collars next week.

There seems to be a TSB for the subframe bolts, but I don't know its content:

Two questions:
1) my Spoon collars didn't have any engravings on them (neither letter nor numbers); has anybody else experienced this? Perhaps they stopped doing this of late?
2) I only attempted to place the front collars in and they do not "drop" into the subframe... the fitment into the subframe is so tight that I can only get them in about halfway. This made raising the subframe back up and aligning with the frame near impossible. I triple-checked the collars and tried all of the other collars and I'm confident I'm using the correct collars for each location since the other collars, meant for the rear, do not fit the bolts. All of the videos and comments suggest that the collars "drop" into the subframe. Anybody else experienced the fitment I'm realizing?

I did not run into any fitment issues.

But I can't remember if they were engraved.

I'm considering installing the rigid collars myself and am curious about best way to secure the steering wheel before disconnecting the coupler. Wouldn't locking the steering column and wheel before disassembling the coupler properly secure the steering wheel during the collar install?

-matchmark steering coupler to steering rack with a sharpie marker
-remove lower bolt, loosen top bolt
-remove ignition key (this will lock the column)
-slide coupler back

I honestly think the collars are redundant. There is no way a properly tightened subframe is moving.

I installed my spoon set this weekend and they are also unmarked. There is only two sizes because you have two different size bolts. Just pay attention to the drawing which way is up, thicker part of the collar on the bottom . Anyway the car feels more solid and less shaking over bumps. Its not as significant as replacing a bad motor mount but I can tell the difference. I did notice some of the bolts in the rear sub frame where not as tight as it should be when I removed them. Maybe all I needed was to tighten all the sub frame bolts and have the same improvements, well I don't have to worry about the sub frame shifting and causing alignment issues. My front right wheel is worn badly on the inside and I just had my alignment done 6 months ago. If these collars will save my tires, then its worth it as they where not really too expensive.

Have me thinking now to recheck my civic fitted with collars,<7 yrs>they are made from soft material,once moving will wear at a high rate..
