Default Canton Racing Oil Re-Location kit

The directions say the oil filter has a directional flow, so the IN has to be IN or the filter life is degraded.

The main Canton adapter onto the block is as follows one port comes FROM the threaded bore securing it (which I think is the feed)
The other port is the tear drop oval thing that feeds or returns inside the Main O-ring seal.

Put the directions down and just look at the flow path and make sure you hook up your hoses accordigly so the flow path is the same...

Tracking thank you. I can manage the hoses correctly once I know >> verify the center threaded bore is in fact the port that receives oil TO be filtered, and not the returned filtered oil. That's the best I can re iterate.

Think of it this way, The center bolt off the motor, follow flow patch, hook hose up to oil filter relo plate that provide oil to the center, attach oil filter. It doesn't get much simpler than that.

Oil to be filtered flows IN from the outside (small holes) and Filtered oil exits out through the center (large threaded) hole. It would be hard for the oil to flow the other way with the anti-drainback valve covering the holes.

ty! Ty ty if indeed ur right, this is how I set it up. I'm done searching lol. I'll take it.

So I had it backwards at first, got everything done n tightened up with fresh oil n all. Started her up, and everything was great. So the car is warming up and finally drops down to 1k rpm out of no where I hear a slight knock rattle, immediately shut it down and pulled this thread back up and realized it was backwards...All while I'm having a heart attack (thinking rod knock) switching it, got it all buttoned up again and started it lol... It was my exhaust rattle that sounded tremendously different when car is on lift lol.

tge Canton Motorsports re-location comes with its own billet 8 micron oil filter canister thing. So I had to verify which port pushes, and which returns oil @ the block. If I had just the filter relocation plate yes I could of done it that way, would of been much easier lol.
